Congrats! I got one from LLL before. If you plan on housing a pair then a cage that's a little higher would be better since they are arboreal. When i got my first one it took quite a while to calm down. Just leave it alone for a day so it can calm down. It would also be a good idea to turn the lights out, because it seems to reduce stress. Good luck with your new baby!

:I hate it.....just kidding. I love her. I just got her yesterday at llreptile(same place i got my dumerils montitor). Right now she is hanging on the glass. The mesurment of the cage are 24Lx 16Hx 12W. Are these ok for a bredding pair or even a trio( I only have the girl right now and she is only 3 1/2 to 4 in. stv. Also i have bed a beast with orchid bark and some moss. Do these sound ok. I also cut a hole in the container i got her in and put moss in it( for a humid hide. If anyone has anyadvise please tell me. Also it is 12:49 here and she is in the computer room(the brightest room in the house and she is not sleeping. Is this ok? I know they are nocurnal. Thanks
