Hi, for a stocking stuffer for Christmas I got a "NightLight Spot" light for my leachies at night (obviously). My parents bought a 60 watt incandescent because they knew that I only needed to raise the temperature a few degrees. My question is, I've seen people talking about red night lights because they emit red-light which has a very low or very high (I can't remember) wavelength and is invisible to the reptiles because it isn't within their color spectrum. The light that I have though, emits a purplish light that is a little hard to describe. Is it actually keeping the Leachies up though? If it is I can probably return it, but I was just wondering. Supposedly it has "rare balck earth phosphors" to stimulate the "Natural Glow of the Moon" I'm actually quoting the box. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Ian
