They do have sticky feet, but not to the same sticky power as cresteds. You'll rarely, if ever see an Auric climbing on glass.
The ten gallon should be fine for an adult if you want to keep it in there, as always go right ahead and go bigger if you'd like. For a baby, I suggest you use something smaller, like a 5 gallon or a small storage box that you can buy from any craft store or Target.
