I'm sure you guys remembered that on 12/13/02, I found my first clutch of leachy eggs. Well, yesterday I had a gut feeling and something told me to check the nest box (I had caught the female laying in the nest box a couple days prior on and off but didnt think anything of it, for peat sake it was only a couple weeks since her first clutch) and would you belive that I found my second clutch of eggs. Now lets do the math, that is only 19 days between clutches. Another thing to remember and this is based on my leachy pair, is that the female never gives me an indication she is about to lay. She never throws the vermiculite around, unlike my cresteds who throw vermiculite everywhere (those cresteds are messy little things). Has anyone else experienced double clutching with their rhacs.? Thought I'd share my happiness with all you rhac. lovers. Jack
