Crested Gecko Diet News

Hi All,

Just thought you all might like to know...I contacted Allen about the diet and this is what he had to say (he gave permission to repost his reply to me here).

"ok, here is the straight scoop on the diet. I just returned from a month
in Australia, and my vacation didn't help things. The Crested gecko diet is
just one of a line of foods I have developed, and the line is being
launched all at once (this is demanded by distributors). This has caused
delays because of development of the other foods. All of the materials are
at T-Rex and being mixed, but because they are doing custom packaging, this
development, plus delays from these suppliers ( containers, lids and
labels) which is out of T-Rex's control, have created
problems. Advertising in the Magazines is about 4 months in advance, so
this is why the ads keep coming out. Believe me, T-Rex is working hard to
get it out because each of those adds costs about five thousand
bucks.... Sometimes planing just doesn't come together the way you want,
and this is one of those times. So all I can tell you is as soon as all the
packaging material shows up, it will start shipping.
I just returned from Australia a few days ago, and am still getting my
feet back on the ground. I am meeting with T-Rex tomorrow, and will see
about getting some samples out in bags without packaging to those who are
too anxious to wait.... :) I still have a list of people who have emailed
me, I tried to get samples out before I left, but I just ran out of
time. I still plan to get samples out to all of them. Just give me a few
days and I will make a post on the list with the names I have to make sure
there is no one missing.

I will be giving this list to Tom (product manager) at T-Rex, and he will
send the samples direct.
