I had a 3 day old baby ciliatus escape in oct. I, like you went crazy thinking I would never find it again plus I have a puppy so i thought for sure the puppy would get it. I spent 2 days looking high and low for it and finally gave up. On the third day I sat down to eat breakfast and there, under a few napkins was the baby! So i guess the moral is just be patient and watchful. I am sure the baby will turn up.

Also you'll have to be extra careful when climbing into bed or onto furniture. cresteds will wedge themselves into fairly tight dark spaces to sleep. Best of luck finding it!
