Cresteds make wonderful pets for both beginners and experts. They have easy caging requirements. Eat many different food items like crickets, apricots, mealworms, peaches, baby food, and much more. They are extremely docile; not once have I been bitten. They are beautiful, colorful, magnificent, and interesting geckos. No need for expensive UVB bulbs or spot lamps. I would recommend one to anyone who likes lizards, or actually any reptile. They can cost around $50 for a 4-8 week old up to more than $200 dollars for some of the amazing morphs. If you would like some of the specifics on keeping them please ask. I and the rest of the crested owners would be glad to help. Please consider these geckos if you are interested, but please get what you need to know before buying them.
:Hey everyone. I was wondering if cresteds make good pets. I have two beardies, one now, cuz one died of an unknown sickness, not detected when taken to the vet. I was just wondering if they r expensive, if they dont required an advanced keeper and if they rnt to hard to take care of. Thanks.
