Hi all! I got my first crested about two weeks ago and promptyl turned around three days later and got another one. I would have more still if I could find them! I am absolutely addicted already. Everyone should have a crested!
I do have a couple quick questions though. Substrate.....I have a veiled chameleon who has always had carpet type substrate bought from pet store. I know that the baby cresteds should not have bark or stuff like that since they may ingest it in the process of grabbing up crickets. I would like to use the carpet in their cage as well if it would be okay?
Baby food. Skippy and Zippy eat crickets quit readily but I would like to see them eat baby food as well for fruits and the vitamins contained. I have tried apricot, peach, pear, banana, etc. No luck from what I can tell. Any suggestions?
I have a million more questions but will limit myself to those two for now and one more. How come now one ever told me about these guys before and where can I get more more more? (okay..that was a twofer, so sue me!)
