In Reply to: CAN YOU FREEZE BABY FOOD AND RE-USE??? n/p posted by jff on November 22, 2002 at 12:11:06:
I make up big batches of fruit mix and freeze it. With all the fruit eating geckos I have, it's more economical than using baby food. Just freeze it all in ice cube trays, and defrost as many cubes as you'll need for that feeding.
For the few geckos who don't like hunting, or for breeding females and young ones, I add about 50% yogurt to every other fruit feeding. If you use real yogurt (live bacterial culture, not imitations made with gelatin), you don't have to worry about lactose intolerance or any of the usual milk protein problems.
