Thas okay if youre sure shes ready to breed at least 14-16 months (the older the better up to about 2 years then its all teh same) and that shes got good body mass (around 32 g minimum). Then keep in mind that there is sperm retention in females and she may not lay fertile eggs. Also, the first clutch is often infertile, and sometimes will not hatch even if the eggs are fertile. Sometimes the first clutch is a single eff. Anyway, if you are planning on matching them up frequently, then go for it, but don't expect too much the first time. Good luck!

:hi all, i'm new to this forum. i don't know if this is out of the ordinary or whatever, but i was thinking it would be neat for my female crested to have some babies.

:i was wondering if it would be possible for someone to use their male as a stud to impregnate my female? is this a good idea, bad idea? like i said, i don't know, i'm new =).

:input would be much appreciated =).
