Oh yeah, the baby food is fully supplemented, and I plan on offering him crix every couple of days. he's big and healthy and used to a certain diet from his previous owner.

:You did not mention anything about crix. Have you tried them, the protein is more important then the baby food. Baby food should not be feed exclusively unless it is properly supplemented with vitamins, minerals, protein, etc, you can’t just use it off the shelf. Allen’s crested gecko diet is specially formulated, so you do not have to feed live prey. Normally crix should be the staple diet with baby food supplemented 2-3 times a week.

:As far as you’re crested not eating, he just might not be settled in yet. Sometimes it takes awhile, or he just might not like the baby food you are using. Try different flavors, and hand feeding him with a spoon. And of course make sure he has a few crix available. Good Luck!
