Paul,

you'de be surprisd how much these cresty's love to jump.

My cresty, Sticky," is pretty actice. And at night I'll continually hear thumping, and banging noises. It's usually him lounging at crickets, or just plain, jumping around.

Sticky will be on the side walls, and suddenly jump onto a leaf that gives-way, or onto the large piece of wood that's in the center of the cage. Either way...you'll always hear a strong THUMP.

Don't worry, it's normal.

In Christ: Raymond

:Paul,
:They don’t always stick perfectly to the side of tanks, especially if the tank was just sprayed. At night all you hear in my room is crix chirping, and constant thumping, crashing and rustling of leaves. After an hour or so, no crix chirping (all eaten... hehe), and very little thumping and crashing noises. So it is normal to find them plopping to the ground to look for crix, fruit or just to explore. My guys are usually hovering over their food bowls waiting for me even before it gets dark! Since they are such thick-bodied geckos they just make a lot of noise doing it....hehe.
:-Mike
