Hi.
I don't have much experiance with leachies but I find it easier to keep young leachies in small tanks by themselves.
I bought my first henkeli hatchling a year ago and remember having difficulties to get it to eat. I had it in a 15 gal tank initially but when it started to eat it quickly outgrew the first tank. It is now currently in it's third tank (45gal) and in 5-6 months I recon I'll move it to a larger permanent tank and give it a mate.
I bought 1 henkeli hatchling 3 weeks ago and it started eating last week. I kept it in a 12 gallon tank with relatively little vegitation.
Last saturday I bought 4 GT hatchlings and set them up in well planted 2 gallon tanks with a sheet of paper between each tank. They started eating the next day.
I'd advise you to use a small well planted tank with 3 solid walls. the tank should not be bigger than 2x the gecko's length in width and not more than 3x gecko's length in height. When your leachie reaches 6-8 months of age and is showing a heathy feeding pattern you can put it in a large/final enclosure.
If you don't have much vegitation in your tank a great way to keep up humidity is to attach a towel by one corner to the corner of your tank. When you mist your tank be sure to mist the towel properly, it will keep humidity in the tank lower plus the leachie might use it as a hide spot.
hope this helps.
regards

::Thanks,
::Brandon
