Do you mean that it is bad then? I have to mist once a day at least because it is there primary drinking water. If I do this it is always around 80% so for me there is no way around it. Though my substrate on the bottom isn't very moist at all, so it is no like my terrarium is wet all the time because the ground is dry meaning bacteria shouldn't be a problem.

:The biggest problem is that people are judging their humidity needs using weather info from New Caledonia when in fact they have never been found on the main island, all of ours in the hobby desend from Isle of Pines stock, which has alot less humid microclimate. You are talking about an island that is only 7.5 x 7.2 miles in size, thus it has alot less relative humidity than the main island.

::My cresties are always in between 70 - 80% even if I only spray once a day. Does this mean I could be doing more harm then good? I always thought it had to be that high, they haven't been sick or had shedding problems either though. The misting is their drink water right (plus the small dish) so I prefer misting everyday. I'm Confused.......... some experts say 70 -80 is fine others no, which is correct? :(
::Thanks
