How old is your crested? Most favor crickets for the first few months, which i see as a good thing. Little cresties need lots of protein to grow, so let him/she eat all the crickets he/she wants. In my experience i have found it to be very important to supply them with enough protein for their first year. After that i offer more fruit and less crickets. I usally feed my adults every other day and supplement them with baby food once or twice a week. Other speices of rhac are different tho, it took me months to get my gargoyles to eat crix. So i mixed in chicken baby food in with there normal fruit so that they could get the protein that they needed when they were little. Now they eat crix almost every day supplemented with fruit once or twice a week.

I know sandfire does not use crix, but what they use is not just baby food its a complete mixture which prob contains alot of protein among other things (i would be intrested whats in it for those that have it). If i remember right from a past reptiles mag, one of the major ingredients is Spirulina, which is one of the best natural sources of protein.

So my point anyway is not for anybody to worry about their young cresties not eatting fruit or adults for that matter, as long as there getting their protein and supplemnts. Just experiment with different fruit mixtures or baby foods, ull eventually find something they will like and beable to supplement them with. In the mean time enjoy watching them hunt..=)
