LOL! My bedroom was like that too. I had two metal shelving units on two walls covered with terrariums (and one aquarium for goldfish feeders).
How did you make the lids? I'm in dire need of a few lids and hate spending the bucks on the flimsy metal lids at the petstore that don't fit or stay on well to begin with.
:Actually,... that 20 or 30 figure was from the point in time that my mother started to try to prevent more. The number actually went well above 60 before I began to rerelease them due to having too many numbers. And the rattlesnake collection was comprised of nearly a dozen different species. I was quite proud of it.
: But to answer your question,.... part of my weekly regimine included circulating the city on the weekends and searching yard sales for old or broken aquariums. I would usually get these for 2 to 5 bucks apiece and would take them home and fix them and make snug heavy lids for them and afix a light to them. But yes, my room was nothing but a bed and a billion showcases and aquariums.
: And then they started having babies!,... but this is a story for another post.
::20-30 some rattlesnakes? Egads! What did you keep them all in?? I can't help but notice that the enclosures cost more than the snakes sometimes!
