About the banning of all imported reptiles, I dont know much about that. But if it's for the betterment of the animals, I'm all for it. Now one thing I do propose putting some sanctions on the sale and keeping of large, supposedly "dangerous" reptiles. I believe responsible, caring people should be able to own these awesome animals. But what I think would save alot of reptiles their lives, and alot of pain and agony is having mandatory classes with a reputable herpitologists/herpitculturalists. Paid for ofcourse by the individual. Classes in husbandry, proper handaling, and security instructions/guidelines. (i.e; what to do to keep them secure in their enclosure) Maybe even a visit by the herpitologists/herpitculturalists to their homes to make sure the living conditions were right, and that they had the proper, secure, set-up. Now that would make a world of difference. Just my 2 cents though.
