I work at a dentist office so who knows I might get this one right might not, as I deal with human teeth not snake variety but there are some similarities so Imma take a stab at it and say that it could possibly be a supernumerary tooth, maybe an infected tooth of some sort...if there was no pus or infection though I want to rule that out. Best idea is get to the vet obviously but monitor the area maybe check it daily see if it progresses and if you can get some pics although I know its hard with a retic in your hands :) Like I said Im no expert just a guess...
