Man, I was even going to say that she looked gravid when I first saw the picture yesterday, but then I didn't want to be wrong and look silly, you know? lol. Is your friend the guy that they show on The Discovery Channel every now and then that goes out catching and tagging large condas with his wife? Now that is an enviable life.

:You are definitely right Rob. This girl has a great disposition (as well as many other boids i've seen in the Amazons). This picture was taken at my friends farm in Iquitos, Peru (January,02). The picture of her was taken two months prior to deliver 49 healthy babies. I was lucky to go back then, and I was very impressed to see one baby that was five feet + long. My friend kept 10 babies, and the rest were set free. I haven't been there since last year, but I speak with my friend on a regular basis. He told me that she was being bred with six males on her cage. I will try to make a quick trip sometime this year.
