Thank for the explanation folks!!!! The turtles are barely 4". The RES is probaly a male, as his carapace is quite concave. I have alot of experience with snakes, but these rascals are my first turtles. All seems well, and I have not seen any aggressive moves by either, other than the Softy biting me!!
