: Yes, I have a moral objection to cork. ;) I could look into cork, I didn't think of that. I want a certain shape so not everything will do. I am looking for a ramp like structure or something that looks like the shoreline. My turts like to hang out on the ramp part partially submerged so I don't want a flat basking area. I also like ramp-like structures so they always have access to the basking area when the water evaporates a bit.
A pet store guy recommended slabs of slate to build my own basking area but my tank is too small for that right now.
