I have two red-eared sliders, probably about 6 or 7 years old (we adopted them) and we found 5 eggs stuffed in a corner of the aquarium, 4 of them don't look like they're going to make it, but there's one that we have hope for. The others are pretty beaten up looking. What can we do for this one egg to help it along? Should we take it away from the turtles altogether, put it in a separate aquarium? I really hadn't expected babies, but I guess accidents do happen! Any suggestions would be a big help, I'm totally new at this!
Thanks.
