hmmmm, My guys do the same thing, I always figured that the fish that I first put in the tank are a bit slower due to the lack of oxygen in the bag ride home. So a whole lot easier to catch. I always get a couple eaten in the first few minutes of putting them in the tank, then they get chased for a little while and then they seem to become "part of the neighborhood".
