:One of my turtles (female) goes right after the fish as soon as they hit the water while the another one (male) will eat one or two and decide to give up. He'll only go after the fish if I don't feed him for a decent amount of time. The female will rearrange everything in her tank to try and get the fish (she's even pushed her basking rocks over). I'm really starting to think that females are much more agressive than males.


I totally agree with that, when I first got them as hatchlings one was way more aggressive than the other and I named it paul but it ended up that paul was actully a pauline so I hav to switch their names.
