Those rubber maid containers are alot cheaper than aquariums and other methods of housing turtles. I think thats why every one says that it is the cheap method. I can get a 48 gallon rubber maid tub here for less than 20 bucks... Wal-mart has some for cheaper than that I think. A 55 gal tank usually runs at least 150.00 and I think that is a bit low actually.
