I buy $9.99 flexible pools which are pretty deep and come in a box...you just unravel and fill with water...no need to pump it with air (although even juvenile sliders do not pop them with their nails)...I have enjoyed so many hours of reading while they are basking in their pool...you can grow water hyacinths in there too:)
