Okay sorry, I was looking a bit closer at your turtles shell and I think maybe there is some water trapped under the scute which is causing that greenish color. Have you tried a diluted benidine solution on the shell and dry docking her. You dilute the benadine until it looks like the color of tea, wipe it on the shell and then keep her out of the water for a couple of hours. Make sure that you put her back in so that she doesn't dehydrate. Have you ever gone to Austins turtle page? There are alot of photos and other medical information located there. Check it out, there is alot of people there that can offer differnt opinions. I hope that this helps. Personally your setup sounds really good and I don't think that you should feel badly at all. If your turtle is still young then the shell will be less hard then an adult turtle. I hope this helps.
