Just remember a lot of snails like to eat plants (ramshorn snails if large or in large numbers, could destroy plants). Also if your considering apple snails (or any of the other various names it has, i.e. golden or mystery) you have to have a male and female as they mate. The ramshorn and many other species are hermaphroditic (breed on their on)

:I wanted to start a tank for raising feeders like rosey reds, some anacharis and maybe some snails. Anyone have any links or suggestions for equipment? Id probably be using a 29 gallon tank. I used to have a link that had tips for raising all three on one page but can't find it anymore. Thanks!
