We try to feed our 2 RES every other day or so. Their diet includes Romaine Lettuce and pellets. About once a week we give them protien in the form of feeder fish, crickets, worms, or cooked chicken or turkey. RES are naturally pigs, and beg for food, so be careful not to overfeed them. Romaine lettuce is great. At first ours did not eat it much, but now they love it. YOu can also feed them many other veg's or fruits. Just be careful not to spoil your water. Some people use a seperate feeding tank. The turtles need to eat in the water to swollow their food.
