Your set-up will be fine like "Jimsworld" said, but you hatchling RES will quickley out grow a 10 gallon tank in just a matter of a few short months. Keep in mind that An adult RES depending on sex will range anywhere from 8 to 12" requiring a tank around 100 gallons.
