Veggies

How small do i have to cut up veggies for two turts a little over an inch in diameter? Do they chew and is it possible for them to choke? i have been dicing up grapes and cucumbers in about 4mm pieces square. Is this ok? They are eating the veggies now (yay!) but i just don't want them to choke.
