:hello, recently something strange has started to appear in my 2 RES's tank....it started about 3 nights ago, i cleaned the tank and 2 hours later the water was really foggy white and there were pieces of a white-rubbery like substance, very thin...i immediatly changed the water and cleaned everything out and it came right back , i have repeated the process 3 times and it came back everytime thus far which leads me to bleieve it is something one or both of the turtles is sacreeting...if anyone has any idea what this substance is, please tell me!

Does the white rubbery substance kind of look like the stuff in egg-drop soup? If so, I believe that the substance is a "pre-egg laying" occurance. Because I had that happen too. Wwithin a couple of weeks after my female secreted this substance a few times, I found 2 eggs at the bottom on their tank. If you have females, I bet you find eggs soon.
