RES's in the first few months grow an average of 1.5cm a month...Hence you would end up with a baby of 2" in the average year...Second year growth rates increase to about 2cm to 2.5cm a month...Hence you would have a 3.5" to 4.5" juvenille..The rate in the third year usually slow back again...Don't expect a huge turtle in a short time...It just won't happen...Hope this helps....
