I have had that happen to me with my boxies a few times. You get a good name picked out and then it turns out to be the opposite sex then what you thought it was. So now when ever I adopt a turtle I usually name them after a candybar because those can be used as universal names, such as skittles, snickers, or starbursts. The list is endless.
