:and most likely not a painted at all. Eastern painteds have red leg stripes that fade into yellow neck and head stripes. This individual has yellow stripes on head and legs. I'd guess a cooter or slider.
I was thinking the same thing It dosn't look like a painted to me but it is kinda hard to tell by the pic
