::i used to have two turtles .. one died from colds.. is it ok if i just have one turtle? .. is it also ok if if the aquarium it lives in does not have much of a swimming area? Its easier to clean when its just in a big bowl with rocks and lamp..

:One turtle is fine...He does need to have at least 65% water volume to land.. A bowl, as you describe, would be ok for the short term but not for long term healthy care...
