On that note, I have also noticed that sometimes when I'm feeding my RES she's looking more at my finger than at the food. Is this normal? Is she really aiming to bite me? Because pretty much everyone has told me that if they bite, it's a complete accident.


I recomend taking the turt out of its tank quite often (probably 2-3 times a week) and just have contact with it so it gets used to you.... thats what i do and they have never ever even looked like they were about to bite me
