:Hi everyone! I just recieved a new baby yellow bellied slider from my mom's friend, and he is smaller than anything I have ever taken care of. Norman is only about an inch long, but sooo cute. I have him in a tank right now with some rocks for him to get up on, but he won't eat the pellet that I put in there for him. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get him to eat. Also, will he be alright in my thirty gallon with a 1 1/2 slider? Thanks!

He may just be so little (fresh hatchling) that he has not started to want to eat yet. Make sure your temps (water and basking) are in a good range and he should start to come around.
