::Chances are it is a backflow of carbon into the ear canal...I would not call that normal but it does happen on occassion. If it continues...I would consult my vet to make sure to eliminate any canal problems that might be developing...Just keep an eye on the situation...Hope this helps..

Carbon Dioxide...Sorry I wasn't more clear there.. It occurs naturally during normal breathing..Sometimes excess amounts can get trapped...not often..but it does happen...
