I'm sorry for your loss...I will tell you this...Even being in the care of a respectable pet shop. This does not gurantee health. Most pet stores to not health check or immunize their charges outside of the typical cat or dog. There are multiple dormant diseases that Chelonians can develop and retain for years...If a "good" vet does not do an extensive exam. Some of these can and are missed. In most cases it never effects the turtle...Unfortunately in your case it did... You did all you were suppost to...Don't give up....There is a little round buddy just begging for your love...
