:I have 2 RES in a 75 gallon tank with a Fluval waterfall type filter. I cleaned the entire tank 3 weeks ago and got rid of all the free floating algea. It is all back again. The tank looks like a swamp and is getting worse daily. I'd had the tank for about 6 months and did not have any problem for the first several months. I hoped totally cleaning the tank would work, but it was only temporary (it was clean for about two weeks). The issue apears to be free floating algea. The tank is exposed to an exterior window which provides natural sunlight. I also sometimes use a basking light. I clean the filter weekly, but that does not seem to matter. Any suggestions? Please help!!
