Many people make the mistake of allowing their turtles to get addicted to just one food. This is not a good idea, because there is no perfect food. Reptomin is a good choice for part of the diet. It is very high in meat proteins, so you should use aquatic plants and greens to supplement it, rather than more meat proteins. Babies do eat quite a bit of meat protein, but even they will nibble on aquatic plants, if they are available. And RES over one year old will eat lots of aquatic plants. Aquatic plants have lots of important vitamins, and they are the natural diet. Keep cuttlebone available too.
