Well under that is a foot long piece of 6 inch pvc pipe making up the cave i used large rocks around base and came farther out at bottom then on top of pipe is one of the zip lock disposable containers not sure of size just barely fits so it can be hidden so basically it looks like a lot more rock than there is. But the small gravel does slide occasionally just nothing big enough to hurt the turtles. Old butter dishers or disposable containers either one with holes cut in to fill with water and stacked will take up alot of space requiring less rock and reducing the weight of tank.
