:what filter do you use? looks like a fluval plus. i used a fluval 3 plus for my 14 gallon plastic box which was half filled with water for my 1.25" RES and after 4 days the water was really cloudy. does your filter work well?
i don't think its called a fluval. The box says proquatis thermofilter 90. Its a filter/heater in one. It really works quite well i think. I have about 11-15 gallons in my tank and the filter is for up to 16. When i first started using it i had the air intake thing above water and i had some clouding issues. After i submerged the whole thing in water a couple weeks ago, i haven't had single problem. i'm impressed :)
