Fact is most RES do not create solid waste. Most is more of a liquidy mush. Very seldom do my adults or juvenilles ever produce anything which is visual in nature. I would not be concerned at this point. Just keep and eye on your turtle and also your filter..If it is getting dirty..Chances are waste is being produced..

:::I feed my turts in a separate container with warm water (which encourges pooping). Usually within 0.5-1 hr they both produce at least one poop. After I put them back, they may poop one more time before the next meal. My tank bottom is bare, so it's pretty easy to see.

:how big are your turt? i have 2 baby RES's and i feed them in a seperate tank with warmer water, and i cant see their poop either....... well, at least i dont THINK i can, cause they are pretty messy eaters with soft reptomin, so i dunno...
