How long has he been hiding in the corner? My smallest turtle would do the same thing (hiding in the plants and swimming like mad to get to them if I approached) For almost amonth after I got him. I got him at the beginning of March and just within the past week he has been coming out and isn't so afraid of me. If at all possible let Kiwi see a lot of you, this really helped my little one!
