You're doing the right thing...its rare for turts to just develop lumps on their skin...does the lump have like "fur" on it? Anyways, only another herp vet can give you a real 2nd opinion...keep us updated and let us know what may have caused this condition we can learn from your situation

Help!! Something is going on with my turtle. He has this huge lump growing on his tail. Does anyone have an idea on what would cause this? I called the vet, and they said that he could have injured it and it got infected. I'm taking him in today to be checked, but would like to have second opinions! Thank You, Angel
