My babies are about 2 inches long, and the filter is an Aqua-tech 200. The intake hose is about half way down the tank ( a 55 gal) I have put a hose clamp on the intake now so that it cant come of so easy. The little guy is still doing ok after all that. I think they were playing with it or maybe trying to eat some left over lettuce off the "screen" when they knocked it off, then someone had to be currious and see what was up there.. I hope I have that fixed now so it wont happen again.. I think somone shoudl come up with turtle toys that they can play with in the tank.. I put those little ping pong ball type cat toys with the bell inside in the tank with mine and they play with it for hours.. LOL..
