You can go as big as you have room for..But a 75 gallon would be awesome. I keep mine in a 200 gallon. I filter mine with a Magnum 350 with tube extensions and a UV sterilizer. There are no tops on my tank..I also have a four tube flourecent light along with two metal halide lights in the basking area. Here is a pic of my largest..Lucky... Hope this helps somewhat.

:Hey. I have a few questions, and you guys are awesome with advice, thanks by the way. I have a female 6 1/2 inch res named maya. I was wondering what size tank I should purchase for her. She is growing very rapidly. As of now, I clean her tank by a long step process. And her filter is a dinky shark one. I need some help with what kind of supplies I need to clean her tank and what kind of filter.
:Also, I am worried that she is too big. I saw the picture of slpin's turtle that he didn't know if it was fat. My turtle is bigger than that. I think she is somewhat "chubby" for being 6 1/2 inches. She begs nonstop. I don't know what to do. Thanks!
