in chinatown here in NY they sell baby turtles. thats where my roommates got one. they neglected and i decided to take care of it. its really incredibly depressing. i was there 2 days ago and i wanted to cry. chinatown is just a part of the city that is predominately chinese - food/stores whatever and you get knock off everything. its right next to little italy. most big cities hae a certain part called chinatown.
and someone told me they had a 2year old turtle that just never grew. he said that it just may be the runt of the litter or something
:My two baby turtles I bought in the middle of the last summer, I was with my freind also and he bought one too, all RES. My friends is about four inches now and mine are only about an inch 1/2. Is there something wrong that I am doing. I feed my turtles guppies and otehr fish, crickets, reptomin shrimp, reptomin pellets, and they get cuttlebone once in awhile. They have a basking spot. And use it alot. I use a Uvb bulb for them.
:Also I read about this china town in an earlier post this week, what is it? Thanks
